Townswomen's Guild Dramatic Society ladies mount an assault on the classic
tragedy Macbeth. Their production - original in the extreme - should guarantee
them a place in the drama finals in Welwyn Garden City after 9 months of
painstaking rehearsals. The intrepid ladies unique blend of misplaced
enthusiasm, ego, inappropriate casting, and bad acting ensure that what can go
wrong does go wrong, and results in a series of hilarious mistakes from
beginning to end.
